LOCATION

Home base is the Strathmore Stampede Grounds. That’s where you can find the start and finish line, self-camping and all the fun festivities.

ROUTES

Each day you have a choice between two different routes – 100km and 70km. Routes will change each day so you can do more exploring. We’ll share the exact routes closer to the event, and you’ll be able to choose when you check in.

CAMPING

Self-camping is available on-site at the Strathmore Stampede Grounds, so bring your tent or trailer! If you are using a trailer, it must be registered via the online check-in process and dropped off between 1-7pm on July 21 and removed on July 23 after 4pm. Camping is available on both July 21 and 22 with shower and washroom facilities available, but there are no hook-ups or dumping stations. Food and drink will not be provided on July 21. We’ll follow up soon to help with self-camping arrangements.

BIKE DROP-OFF

Bike drop-off is available on Friday afternoon (we’ll let you know the exact hours closer to the event). And we have secured bike storage for Friday and Saturday night.

FESTIVITIES

Our beloved Saturday Evening Festival will be at the Strathmore Stampede Grounds with great food, drinks and entertainment. We also have our celebratory BBQ Sunday afternoon at the finish line.

PACKETS

Tour packets will be available for pick-up beginning on June 28 (Barbara Mitchell Resource Centre, 1731 29 St SW, Calgary, AB T3C 1M6), and also at the Strathmore Stampede Grounds Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Please note, tour packets will not be mailed out this year.
